If you own a building that is older than 1925 and wish to have an historical plaque, contact the THPAB (or complete this FORM) with any pertinent information for the building in your request (i.e., date, original owner, etc). Upon request receipt, the HPAB will conduct research to verify the date and original owner/occupant and issue a response form to you for payment for your request ($40 per plaque). The plaque(s) will be ordered upon receipt of payment. Completed plaques are accompanied with mounting hardware and a brief history of the building and/or historic occupants and/or deed excerpts. They may be picked up in the Town Clerk's Office after you receive notification of completion from the HPAB.
