Notice from the Tiverton Webmaster

THE TIVERTON WEBSITE STANDARDS FOR CIVIC AND POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS INFORMATION SUBMITTAL

Civic and Political and Non-Profit Organizations are eligible to be listed on the Tiverton Website's Organizations Page. Each organization is also eligible to be linked from this page to its own individual page on the Tiverton Website or to their own website. These individual pages will follow a common format consistant with the town website and can include the organization's logo or seal if sent to the webmaster in either camera-ready (printed literature) or as digital files.

All text to be included on these individual pages or notices MUST be sent in digital form (either as an attachment to an email message produced in MS Word, a PDF File or as part of the email message itself). No hand written or typed hardcopy will be accepted.

Graphic images such as photos, drawings, maps, etc. should be submitted as digital files such as jpeg, gif, tif, and eps files.

For political submittals, The website will provide a common page listing all properly registered candidates by party affiliation linked from the home page and located in the "Voting Info" section of the site. The information on the page will be limited to:

All party platforms or issues will be on the Organization's individual page and linked from the common page. Any individual not affiliated with an established political party will be listed as an "Independant Candidate" and may have an individual page in which to house issues and platform information and a link from the common page.
