The Chief attended a Flammable Liquids fire Fighting School through a grant from the federal Energy Commission this past June to help prepare the Town of Tiverton in the event of an emergency at our own fuel depot on Bay Street. Several other members' of this department are also registered to attend this federally funded school this fall. Fire fighters from all over the country attended this class and the exchange of information and ideas was tremendous. |
